Foldable Cane with Seat

A walking cane and a portable seat in one piece of aluminium tube. Closed, it is a cane with a moulded burgundy T-handle that you walk with normally. When you need to stop, the three legs swing out and lock into a tripod and the folded panels open into a seat — no separate stool to carry and nothing to assemble.

The seat is moulded in rigid burgundy plastic in three hinged sections that lie flat against the shaft when the cane is closed. Opening and closing it is a single motion with one hand. The three legs splay wide when deployed, which is what gives the seat its stability, and each foot carries a non-slip rubber tip.

The shaft is lightweight anodised aluminium and adjusts for height so the handle sits at your wrist crease when standing with your arm relaxed. This is made for anyone who can walk a reasonable distance but needs to rest at intervals — queues, markets, walking tours, waiting rooms, fishing, or a garden. Always open the tripod fully on firm, level ground and check both legs and seat are locked before sitting.
